Mentre tutti intorno fanno rumore è la versione outdoor del secondo frammento del progetto Aporie, nato nel 2019 grazie al sostegno del CNDC La Briqueterie di Parigi. È il frutto di una serie di esperimenti, adattamenti e sospensioni temporali, che hanno attraversato diversi luoghi e formati (Armunia, Teatri di Vetro, Florian Meta-Teatro, Anghiari Dance Hub). Superfici, ovvero luoghi in cui avviene il contatto, possibili interfacce di pubblica intimità, ma anche strumenti concettuali per comprendere il posto della materialità nel nostro presente. Con Mentre tutti intorno fanno rumore proviamo a collocarci nello spazio infrasottile tra pelle e abito, il tessuto che separa e contemporaneamente connette, cercando, al contempo, la stessa possibile relazione tra i corpi in movimento e lo spazio/paesaggio attraversato, negoziando e dissolvendo la distinzione tra interno ed esterno.
Una materialità che non riguarda i materiali ma la sostanza delle relazioni che ospita e di cui sedimenta le tracce. La superficie come mutevole deposito di narrazioni visive. Percezione aptica, pelle, abito, ma anche pudore, sono qui elementi votati ad una possibile riattivazione delle sfera alogica della coscienza, quel trattenersi e saper sostare nell'erotismo del dondolio. Condizione fondamentale all’origine del pudore è un certo “squilibrio”, dato dalla compresenza di direzioni opposte, un ingorgo di pulsioni e un conseguente andamento oscillatorio. Le increspature della texture dell'abito trattengono il ritmo interiore avvicinandosi ad una pausa non immobile, per osservare quali forme, quali corpi, possano generarsi.
While all around making noise is the outdoor version of the second fragment of the Aporie project, born in 2019 thanks to the support of CNDC La Briqueterie in Paris. It is the result of a series of experiments, adaptations and temporal suspensions, which have crossed different places and formats.
Surfaces, or rather places where contact takes place, possible interfaces of public intimacy, but also conceptual tools to understand the place of materiality in our present. With While all around making noise we try to place ourselves in the infra-thin space between skin and dress, the fabric that separates and connects at the same time, dissolving the distinction between inside and outside, in favor of a shareable and communal space. A materiality that is not about the materials but about the substance of the relationships that it hosts and of which it sediments the traces. The surface as a changing deposit of visual narratives. A fundamental condition at the origin of modesty is a certain "unbalance", given by the coexistence of opposite directions, a traffic jam of impulses and a consequent oscillatory trend. The ripples of the texture of the dress hold back the inner rhythm, approaching a pause that is not motionless, in order to observe which forms, which bodies, can be generated.
